In many countries at one time or another taxes were raised by requiring tax payments on all sorts of documents. Korea was no different in this regard. Here is an example: a receipt showing payment for renewal of insurance.
The green 30 won stamp used on this document is the RP73.
Just like with the Seoul Bank Bankbook here too this stamp was used on a document well before the publication date listed in the 2003 and 2015-2016 editions of the “Korean Postage Stamp Catalogue”.
