The revenue stamp on the document contains the following lines:

| Line 2: “We have received the payment” (As in: 10 jeon has already been paid for this stamp) |

| Line 3: “If this stamp is unused we will return the amount mentioned to you.” (Apparently unused stamps could be returned.) |

| Line 5: “Handled by the administrative office” (Perhaps “clerical department” or such a term?) |
