The next stretch is partially outside of build-up area. At (1) is the new road which effectively dissects the old narrow gauge line. Immediately afterwards is the small bridge at (2), a few hundred meters of line next to fields and then a longer bridge at (3). Then we enter Omokcheon itself, which is served by several buslines at (4) and has a road bridge over the railway at (5).
Directly after the Seoburo the track continues in the fields. Next stop in the distance is Omokcheon.
But first another bridge over a small river. This is the bridge at (2) on the map.
This bridge is one of the smaller ones.
The small bridge is difficult to find on the satellite image, but it is there, at the red arrow.
Sometimes the tracks disappear, but it is still easy to keep on walking along the track.

The second largest bridge between Suwon and Ansan (perhaps the railway crossing at Suwon would have been larger, but that one is gone), it has 5 (numbered) spans.
View back to the east, from the bridge. The embankment can be seen easily here, it is the run up to the bridge.
The whole bridge is there, even the guide rails. The wood has been added to help bicycles across, there are bike lanes to both sides of the river.

Shortly afterwards is a modern bus stop (4). Quite a few buses stop here, probably a lot more than there used to be trains…
Because of the bridge the track bed was of course quite high here, but most of the embankment between the bus stop and the bridge has been destroyed to create the modern road in between.
For some 100 meters the line can still easily be seen in Omokcheon.
But then the line disappears on the rubble.
Well maintained gardens have completely destroyed the line here. But the new subway line will undo all this work…

The road bridge over the line in Omokcheon (5). The road is the삼천병마로 (Samcheonbyeongmaro). Shortly after this point a new interchange was created to connect Omokcheon to the 309. There could have been a tunnel, but it is unlikely (the IC is probably newer than the closure of the line).
Shortly after this point a large interchange (IC) has been constructed. Underneath it is a tunnel, but due to time constrains no pictures were taken here. Other people however also visited this part of the line (in December 2011) and
wrote about their experience. Since it is not easy to link directly to pictures on Naver websites one needs to scroll down a lot to get to the pictures of the tunnel. Another Korean also went, in 2008, and took other pictures of the line including the tunnel. There are pictures of this line from the Korean War, two of them showing the tunnel!
